Before Your Order Is Submitted for Production
Every Sundance pergola is built to your exact dimensions after you order, not pulled from existing inventory. Because of this, our return policy works differently than it would for an off-the-shelf product.
Full refund, no questions asked. This is why we walk through a free design consultation before any order is finalized, it’s your last chance to confirm everything is right before we commit to building it.
Once Your Order Has Been Submitted for Production
Because your structure is being built specifically for your space, it cannot be resold to another customer. We are unable to offer a standard return at this stage. If you need to cancel after this point, contact us at hello@theyardretreat.com and we will work with you directly on your options.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Note the damage immediately when signing for delivery
- Send clear photographs to hello@theyardretreat.com on the day of delivery
We will cover return shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise. Manufacturing defects are also covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, full terms are included with every order.
Cancellations
To cancel an order, contact us immediately at hello@theyardretreat.com. Orders canceled before submission to production receive a full refund. Orders canceled after production has begun will be handled case by case, since our ability to refund depends on our own supplier agreements at that stage.
Standard/Stock Items
Certain products in our catalog may not be custom-built to order. Where that’s the case, return terms specific to that product will be clearly noted on the product page.
